The FOCAL application suite is a collection of programs, integrated into IBM
Lotus Notes, that enhances the work experience by centrally managing documents
and workgroups for real-time collaboration across the organization. FOCAL
Software now offers more than twenty applications in the FOCAL Suite. They fall
into four main groups: Quality Management, Marketing and Sales, Record
Management and Human Resource Management. Each group contains a number of
modules that can function either independently or with other modules. In
addition, FOCAL Software offers quality solutions for web applications.

IBM and Microsoft technology
The FOCAL Suite has been developed using IBM and Microsoft technology, IBM Lotus
Notes and IBM Lotus Domino server, Sharepoint and Office applications,
Javascript and many other technologies. Customers use Microsoft Windows server
operating systems as well as Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX and iSeries.
